History

Signature Automotive Products started business in 2008 after purchasing the aftermarket arm of Inalfa Sunroofs. Focused in continuing the legacy of quality and engineering from previous decades, Signature Automotive Products continued operations in Wixom, Michigan. Inspired by the ingenuity and talent of the American Manufacturing workforce in the area, it decided to remain in operations and manufacturing sunroofs in the United States, in a time where manufacturing was moving overseas. 

Evolution

Signature Automotive Products evolved into a comprehensive roof system engineering company during the mid 2000s, developing innovative products such as SoCool® and MyTop® for Jeep Wranglers. Most of these products were acclaimed for their innovation and functionality at the time.

Eventually, Signature Automotive Products regained a foothold on the industry with their core product line, which are inbuilt sunroof solutions for personal and commercial vehicles. With the support of a vast network of professional installers, it became one of the few aftermarket sunroof manufacturers left in America.

Present

Signature Automotive Products was renamed Signature Sunroofs in 2023 to better represent the current core business and priority of this legendary engineering company. Under new management it is now a proud member of the Forrister Group family of companies.

As Signature Sunroofs starts 2024 reaffirming their market presence in the automotive sunroof industry, it will focus its resources in improving product quality and development of their current product line to reassure installers and end-customers that their products are the best available aftermarket sunroof solution in America.
